Chailey Medium Multi ATR

The Ibstock Chailey Medium Multi ATR 65mm Brick represents a premium choice for traditional and modern construction projects. This stock facing brick provides a distinct aesthetic that combines warmth with structural integrity. Furthermore, the medium multi tones offer a diverse colour palette. These bricks feature subtle variations in shade that create a natural, weathered appearance once installed. Consequently, they remain a popular choice for architects who value character in their building designs. The sandfaced texture adds a tactile quality to the exterior, ensuring the building looks mature from the moment of completion.

Ibstock manufactures these bricks at their dedicated Chailey factory. As a result, every brick benefits from decades of expertise in clay manufacturing. The production process involves careful firing to achieve the desired strength and colour consistency. Moreover, the single frog configuration makes these bricks easier to handle for bricklayers. This design feature helps reduce the overall weight without sacrificing the load-bearing capacity of the wall. Therefore, you get a product that is both efficient to install and exceptionally durable over its long lifespan.

Ideal Uses for Stock Facing Bricks

Choosing the right brick depends heavily on the specific needs of your project. The Ibstock Chailey Medium Multi ATR 65mm Brick is particularly versatile across several sectors. Specifically, you might use these bricks for:

• Constructing new-build residential homes that require a warm, multi-tonal exterior finish.
• Designing domestic extensions that need to blend seamlessly with older, traditional clay brickwork.
• Building garden walls and decorative boundary structures that require high durability against the elements.
• Creating feature chimneys or internal brick slips to add rustic character to interior living spaces.
• Restoring period properties where a modern brick with an aged appearance is necessary.
• Developing large-scale commercial housing projects that demand consistency and high pack quantities.

Colour and Appearance

The visual appeal of the Chailey Medium Multi ATR is its greatest strength. The “multi” designation refers to the blend of reds, oranges, and darker earthy tones. These colours shift subtly depending on the lighting conditions throughout the day. In addition, the sandfaced finish provides a slightly grainy surface that adds depth to the facade. This texture helps the brick weather naturally over time, which enhances its beauty as the building ages. Architects often choose this specific brick to avoid the flat, monochromatic look of cheaper alternatives. Above all, the variation in each pack ensures that no two walls look exactly the same. This uniqueness provides a bespoke feel to even the most standard construction projects. By selecting this Ibstock product, you ensure a timeless finish that remains attractive for generations.
